Terms and Conditions. Visitors automatically agree to the General Terms and Conditions established by Amsterdam Decentralized bv (hereinafter: "the Organizer" or "the Organization") upon purchasing an access ticket to the halving party.

Opening day Halving Party:

April 19th 17pm until April 20th 01am.

Article 1 1.1 Anyone entering the Halving party premises declares to have agreed to these General Terms and Conditions upon purchasing an access ticket.

1.2 The event venue may have house rules, which apply in addition to these general terms and conditions and can be found on the organization's website (www.bitcoin.amsterdam.nl) and/or at the event venue. By purchasing the ticket, the visitor also agrees in advance to abide by these house rules.

1.3 The organization reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions in whole or in part at any time. Visitors will be informed in a timely manner of any changes as the organization will announce them on the respective organization's website.

Article 2 2.1 The agreement between the organization and the visitor for the purchase of tickets is concluded after placing an order for one or more tickets via Paylogic/Seetickets. A ticket is booked once the customer has paid the due amount.

2.2 Tickets are personal and may not be sold or provided to third parties in any way. The organizer reserves the right at all times to refuse a person access with invalid tickets. Only the holder of the access pass who presents it first at the start of the event will be granted access.

2.3 The organizer is not liable for the loss or damage of tickets by the buyer for any reason.

2.4 Upon entry, the customer will receive, upon presentation of a valid access pass and, if requested, a valid identity document, a wristband. This wristband must be worn on the wrist throughout the duration of the event and must not be removed or exchanged. The wristband must be shown at all times upon the first request of the staff of Bitcoin Amsterdam, police and/or other competent authorities.

2.5 Halving party and Bitcoin Amsterdam tickets are neither refunded nor exchanged for another type of ticket or day.

Article 3 3.1 Visitors must at all times comply with the (house) rules of the event and instructions from the staff and competent authorities. If the organization deems it reasonably necessary to maintain peace and order during the event, or in case of non-compliance with the (house) rules, it has the right to deny the visitor (further) access to the event and/or to remove them from the event venue.

3.2 Visitors enter the event venue and attend the event at their own risk. The organization is not liable for the loss of, theft of and/or damage to visitors' belongings, consequential damage, and immaterial damage.

3.3 The organizer is not liable or responsible for hearing damage, visual damage, and other physical disorders that may be related to attending the event.

3.4 The organizer will strive to ensure that the program is carried out as much as possible according to the announced schedule. However, it is not liable for any deviations therein and for any (potential) damages resulting therefrom for the customer and/or third parties. Start times as indicated on the website are subject to change.

Article 4 4.1 Only debit card or credit card payments are accepted at the event.

Article 5 5.1 Access to the Halving Party premises is prohibited or may be refused or denied (without the right to a refund of the purchase price) if a visitor (the following enumeration is not exhaustive):

  • Under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs;

  • In possession of drugs or trafficking in drugs;

  • Has previously been denied access to other events/gatherings by the Organizer or other authorities;

  • Displays manifest behavior or wears clothing with the intention of disturbing public peace or provoking violence, hatred, anger, xenophobia, racism, etc.;

  • Endangers other visitors;

  • Carries prohibited objects;

  • Refuses or fails to comply with the General Terms and Conditions.

5.2 The following items are prohibited on the premises of Halving Party and Bitcoin Amsterdam:

  • Drugs or other illegal stimulants;

  • Any other object (umbrella, laser pens, sunshade, etc.) that may be considered dangerous by the security services for other festivalgoers;

  • Projectiles or explosives in solid, liquid, or gaseous form;

  • Flammable products or materials and spray cans;

  • Pyrotechnic objects (Bengal fires, fireworks, torches, etc.);

  • Any weapon or other dangerous, sharp object (sticks, chains, knives, etc.);

  • Banners or objects with discriminatory and/or provocative texts and/or expressions that could be used to disturb public peace, endanger the safety of the crowd, and/or cause harm to people and property;

  • Drones.

5.3 It is not allowed to bring (house) pets into the buildings during the event.

Article 6 6.1 It is forbidden for every visitor on the premises of Halving party and Bitcoin Amsterdam to:

  • Enter zones for which the wristband does not provide access (backstage, press room, stages, etc.);

  • Climb tents, structures, fences, light bridges, benches, and all other constructions on the premises;

  • Block accesses, exits, and emergency exits;

  • Disguise themselves with the intention of not being recognized in order to disturb public peace or endanger the safety of visitors;

  • Throw or shoot with objects in solid, liquid, or gaseous form;

  • Smoke in areas where it is prohibited;

  • Urinate in public;

  • Theft of decorations or any other material from Fête du Champagne & Vins;

  • Tear, break or cause any form of destruction of decorations.

6.2 Smoking is not allowed in the buildings, except for any designated smoking areas. Any fines imposed on the visitor as a result of the violation will be recovered from the visitor by the organization.

Article 7 7.1 Bitcoin Amsterdam and The Halving Party processes personal data of customers and visitors to its website in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

7.2 Image and/or sound recordings may be made of the event and the visitors, and recordings may be made public or reproduced. The visitor unconditionally grants permission for the making of the aforementioned recordings and their exploitation without the organization or third parties being obliged to pay compensation to the visitor. The visitor hereby irrevocably waives the right to invoke his/her personality rights.

Article 8 8.1 Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions.

8.2 Any disputes of any kind that arise between a visitor and the organization as a result of (use or application of) these general terms and conditions and/or related agreements will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN ACCESS BEING DENIED/REFUSED WITHOUT REFUND OF THE ENTRANCE FEE. IF ACCESS IS DENIED/REFUSED, THE VISITOR MUST IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS.
