  • Bitcoin only.

  • Yes! Bitcoin Amsterdam is for all ages and we highly encourage young people to participate in Hyperbitcoinization. Children under the age of 12 can attend at no cost. Must be with parent during the whole event.

  • The halving party is for all ages and levels of Bitcoiners with easy access for Europeans and global visitors including businesses, investors and professionals.

  • The halving party is on 19th of April from 17:00 till 01:00 at the Posthoorkerk. The venue address is Haarlemmerstraat 124-126, 1013 EX Amsterdam, NL.

  • A halving party is an event held to celebrate the halving of the reward for cryptocurrency mining, where the reward for miners is reduced by half, usually occurring after a certain number of blocks or a certain period, as with Bitcoin.

  • No outside food and beverage will be permitted. There will be several food and drink options available for purchase on site.

  • The Volunteer program is now closed. Interested applicants may express interest for future events through the Contact form. Discover ways to get involved at Bitcoin Amsterdam with forms for Affiliates, Students and more.

  • Just enough for “spending money”. We don't recommend bringing large amounts of bitcoin with you to the event. Unfortunately, there can be bad actors whose sole purpose is to steal your hard-earned BTC. That said, everything will be Bitcoin enabled, so download your favorite Lightning wallet and top off with what you plan to use at the conference.

  • You are able to pay for food and beverages with credit card, debit card, or Bitcoin via the Lightning Network.

  • Bags of large sizes or luggage is not allowed on site for security reasons. There is no baggage check station available and we do not recommend bringing large bags or backpacks to the event. All bags will be checked by security before entering the venue and may slow down the entry process.

  • Yes, there will be alcohol on site for purchase. The legal age to be served in the Netherlands is age 18 and above. Know how to HODL your alcohol. If you get intoxicated and cause problems, security will kindly ask you to leave the premises.

  • The halving party will have attendees of all ages. Please be mindful of those around you! Additionally, please be thoughtful of photography and use of cellphone cameras, as not everyone will want to be included in photos. If you're extremely interested in privacy, consider wearing a privacy mask. For professional crew shooting, a permit from the organizers is required.

    2. This email will have a “PERSONALIZE NOW” tab

    Please click that tab and confirm your attendee(s) information

    3. Once confirming, you will receive an email from no-reply@paylogic.com stating that your ticket has been personalized.

    The “Manage Order” tab will lead you to your ticket account and will unlock your QR ticket code on the day of Early Registration (October 8).

    If you have additional attendees, they will receive an email from no-reply@paylogic.com asking them to claim their ticket. After claiming, they will receive a follow-up email with the ability to “Manage Ticket”. Their “Manage Ticket” tab will lead to their ticket account and will unlock a QR ticket code on the day of Early Registration (October 8).

  • No, but you can buy a combi ticket. With this ticket you get acces to the halving party and the Bitcoin Amsterdam Conference

  • Yes, you are able to request a name change/update, bill statement or VAT invoice with the Paylogic Team directly from the ticket email confirmation sent to the email address used during registration.

  • As of September 17, 2022 the government of Netherlands announced that the European Union(EU) entry ban has been lifted. Please visit the official website to verify the travel requirements and updates.
